The Constitution of India - Arabic Translation
The Republic of India is governed in terms of the Constitution of India which was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 26th November 1949 and came into force on 26th January 1950.
The Constitution of India lays down the framework defining fundamental political principles, procedures, powers and duties of government institutions and sets out Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles of State Policies and also the Duties of its Citizens.
The Arabic language translation of the full text of the Constitution of India was formally released on 8 December, 2014 at the Headquarters of the League of Arab States (LAS) in Cairo by Mr. Anil Wadhwa, Secretary (East), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and Dr. Nabi El Araby, Secretary General of the League of Arab States.
