REPUBLIC DAY RECEPTION

A Reception was hosted by H.E. Dr Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to Qatar in the evening of 26 January, 2021 to mark the 72nd Republic Day of India at Hotel Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel.

H.E. Ali Bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, Minister of Commerce and Industry was the Chief Guest.  H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Yousif Abdullah Fakhro, Head of Protocol of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. Ali Ibrahim Ahmed, Dean of Diplomatic Corps were guests of honour.

An exclusive documentary covering the culture, landscape etc. of Indian States & Union Territories was screened for the audience.  A spectacular cultural performance mesmerised the audience. 

Strict Covid-19 protocols in accordance with the guidelines of Ministry of Public Health, Qatar was followed during the event.
