Know India Seminar

India Tourism, in association with the Embassy of India in Doha, is conducting a “Know India Seminar” under the “Incredible India” banner for stakeholders on Monday, 2nd September 2019 at 6.30pm at The Hotel Radisson Blu in Qatar. The event is being conducted with the active collaboration of the Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC) in Qatar.

The seminar will sensitise the stakeholders about the new developments taking place in the Indian tourism sector. India is a 365-days destination having year-around multifaceted tourist products such as culture, adventure, cruise, Golf, MICE, luxury, wildlife, Wellness and Medical etc.,

His Excellency Mr. P Kumaran, Ambassador of India to Qatar, will inaugurate the seminar and address the exclusive gathering. Senior business executives, travel agencies, tour operators and other officials will attend the programme.

Mr. Seetharaman Avany, Assistant Director, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, will make a presentation on India Tourism. In addition, two private tour operators from India, Ramakrishnan (Business Development Manager from Cholan Tours and Travels, Chennai) and Radhey Kishan Gupta (from Sanyog Voyages, New Delhi) as well as Asit Ray, Associate Vice-President of The Oberoi Group, will participate in the seminar and will make presentations about their tour packages and products during this programme.

Further, India Tourism, will be participating in the “Qatar Travel Holiday Expo”, scheduled to be held on September 3-4, 2019 at Hotel Radisson Blu, Doha. This participation in the Expo is being facilitated by the Indian Embassy, Doha and IBPC Qatar.
