PRESS RELEASE
Embassy of India, Doha Relocates to its
New Premises
Embassy of India, Doha has relocated to its new premises [Villa No.86 & 90, Street No. 941, Al Eithra Street, Zone 63, Onaiza, Doha]. With extreme hard work, the Embassy officials were able to accomplish the task of relocation most swiftly.
Normal consular and other services could not be rendered on three working days (22-23 June and 26 June, 2016). However, the Embassy promptly attended to emergency cases even during the period of relocation. It is heartening that consular services, as on any working day, were also rendered to the applicants for non-emergency cases, who visited the new premises on Sunday, 26 June, 2016.
The Embassy is grateful for the support and cooperation of the authorities concerned in the Government of Qatar for its relocation to the new premises. The Embassy also conveys its sincere gratitude to HE Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Saud Al Thani, Chairman, Ooredoo, and the Ooredoo Team for their exceptional support in installing communications at the new premises.
Telephone/fax numbers and email addresses of various offices/sections of the Embassy remain the same as already available on its website [www.indianembassyqatar.gov.in].
The Embassy will fully render consular and other services from its new premises with effect from Monday, 27 June, 2016. For recapitulation, the timings of the Consular Section until 15 September, 2016 are as follows:
8 AM to 11.15 AM: Submission of applications
