Ambassador administers SWACHHATA pledge to all the Embassy officials on 17 January as the Embassy joins the observance of Swachhata Pakhwada from 16 to 31 January 2024.

The Embassy celebrates Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas (PBD) 2024 in Qatar on 10th January 2024. In a ceremony held at Indian Cultural Center, Ambassador felicitated 15 members of the community for their achievements in sports and arts during the past year.

Ambassador Mr. Vipul called on HE Ali bin Samikh Al Amri, Minister of Labor of the State of Qatar on 10th January 2024. In the meeting, they reviewed India-Qatar bilateral partnership in the labour sector and discussed ways to further strengthen the same.

Vishwa Hindi Diwas was celebrated in Qatar on 14 January 2024. 250+ people joined the celebrations held at the Indian Cultural Center.

Ambassador met with the Minister of State for Interior Affairs HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal Al Thani on 3 December 2023. The meeting involved discussions on various matters of mutual interest and a review of the cooperative relations between the two countries in the security fields, along with ways to support and enhance them.

Ambassador, Embassy officials and community volunteers from ICBF helped more than 40 Indians in monthly meeting held on 3 December 2023 by resolving or advising them on their consular grievances.

Ambassador met Indian contingent on 20th November at inauguration of the ISSF Shooting World Cup Final being held in Qatar from 18-27 November. Best wishes from the Embassy and the Indian community.

Ambassador and Indian community members paid floral tributes on 2 Octber 2023 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. They also recalled Bapu's teachings of peace, truth and non-violence as well as his emphasis on swachhta (cleanliness). Saplings were planted in chancery premises on this occasion.
