Kumaran, Ambassador and Hamad Mohammed Al Fahida, Chief Operations Officer, Qatar Post jointly released a commemorative postage stamp to mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at prestigious Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (VCUarts Qatar).

1 October 2019: Indian Embassy together with VCUarts Qatar held a Fashion-cum-Exhibition Show “CELEBRATING KHADI:The Fabric of Freedom and sustainability” to mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Renowned Bengaluru based fashion designer– Prasad Bidapa presented the show. During the course of the event, Indian Embassy and Qatar Post jointly released a commemorative postage stamp to mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
